Most people who do websites don't put pricing on their websites. Why? Because each website is unique and it's tough to give a one price fits all quote. But, most people who do websites do it purely as their "day job". They design sites for large, small, and everywhere in-between companies. I don't.
I create websites for fun. I simply like doing it and it's something I do in my spare time. Most of all, I only create websites for small companies and for small not-for-profits.
The prices listed on the right are for BASIC websites and documents. Flash designs, content writing, ongoing maintenance (if requested), and purchase of photographs are additional costs. Domain purchase and hosting costs are also not included in the website cost.
How much are all of the extras (like Flash and content writing)? It depends on what you want! Some Flash designs take very little time to create, while others take days. The same goes for content writing. Ongoing maintenance of your site (making regular updates to the information and checking to make sure all links are still active, etc.) starts at $20 an hour with a two hour minimum.
Domain and hosting costs for a small site should run less than $200 per year. Loading your site to your host provider and setting up your domain ARE included in the price of the basic website. |
